ABOUT
CAREFUL PAINTING
 Vancouver’s
Careful Painting began in 1995. It was started, and is
currently owned and operated, by its 34-year-old proprietor Derek
Bardon. Derek grew up on the West Side of Vancouver, and attended Kerrisdale Elementary, and Point Grey Secondary, before Graduating
from UBC in 1994.
Derek started out as a self-employed painter in 1995 completing small
residential projects throughout Vancouver, eventually painting the
insides and outsides of large West Side homes by himself.
By the late 1990’s Derek was working with several employees on his
painting projects. Today he manages a full crew year-round, and has
turned Careful Painting into a recognized success.

Careful Painting is not a
franchised operation. We are independently owned and Vancouver based.

Careful Painting is not a
labour broker, or a contractor which sub-contracts painting work that
you pay for, out to other painters or companies. We don’t put our
T-shirts on just anybody. Every Careful Painting Project is managed
and controlled by Derek Bardon, from beginning to end.

Careful Painting is not a
student painting company. Although Careful Painting employs some
mature experienced students during the summer, we are an established
business that is around year-round to provide service to the customer
today, and for years to come.

hire or use illegal immigrant labourers

interested in expanding to the point where we are not able to ensure
that you receive the personal service and high quality work that you
have paid for and deserve.
