News has come down that Benjamin Moore’s main paint manufacturing facility for North America has been badly damaged by Hurricane Sandy. Apparently, paint manufacturing has come to a virtual stop. This will no doubt affect the supply of Benjamin Moore Paints throughout North America and to Western Canada. Hopefully inventory in the Aldergrove BC facility is high enough to keep the paint flowing here in BC while the Newark New Jersey factory is repaired and brought back on line. All my best to those working to repair the Benjamin Moore factory.
Finally, while we’re on the topic of Hurricane Sandy, my thoughts go out to the people in the Northeastern U.S. experiencing hardship during the aftermath of the storm.
